the great china firewall

china has this giant firewall that blocks various sites, one of which is my blog at wordpress (see authorgal.wordpress.com). and for the past 10 days i've been itching to write about everything that i'm seeing here in beijing.

bought a diary and a pen at a shopping complex near Chegongzhuang. but it ain't the same. i guess the IT revolution has completely changed the way we write - not with a pen clutched in our right hand but right at our fingertips.

the weather is slightly warmer. Joa went out without his ear mufflers and had mentioned how the strangers had changed into their light jackets.

joa's housemate, Nick is lending me his laptop while he's away at work. writing is good. it'll keep me sane.
